A D&AD for thinking differently

We come at things from a different perspective and, by thinking differently, we are able to create highly bespoke solutions that make our clients stand out from the crowd.

This exhibition concept for Siemens gave us our first D&AD Award.

The brief was to develop a stand for the CBI Conference, at the Design Business Centre in Islington, that highlighted Siemens’ leadership in engineering.

Our solution combined art and technology. We collaborated with product designer Sam Buxton to create a stainless steel installation based on his MIKRO series of fold-up sculptures.

The installation was then laser cut with shapes reflecting Siemens’ business sectors.

To add a sense of engagement, an intelligent perspex panel using electro-luminescent light technology presented a series of interactive messages highlighting the key benefits of Siemens’ work.

The stand had so much stand-out appeal that it was chosen by the BBC as its base for interviews.
