We ran a collaborative workshop to explore SMBC’s identity and aspirations. It revealed a clear appetite for a bolder tone of voice, greater confidence and clarity on what sets SMBC apart as an employer.
From this, we distilled three core traits that shaped the refreshed EVP: Founded, Driven, Connected. We brought the EVP to life through refined messaging, new visual assets, campaign photography and video, plus updates to the careers webpage and social content.
Built around the theme ‘Be our difference’, the refreshed EVP captures SMBC’s authentic, ambitious spirit, helping the company stand out as an employer of choice and engage the talent it needs to grow.
