The challenge involved producing an ESG campaign to engage across multiple digital channels, alongside a Sustainability Report that provided more detail on Aston Martin’s ambitious new climate commitments.
As one of only a few automotive companies to commit to Net Zero, it was important to bring this story to the fore, emphasising not only its goals for vehicle electrification, but also in driving sustainability across its value chain. In addition, key aspects of the strategy such as new diversity targets and strengthened Board-level responsibility for sustainability were given due attention.
We created a name ‘Racing. Green.’ for the strategy, playing on Aston Martin’s heritage and performance DNA. The campaign featured animated timelines, videos, and digital assets, launched across social media and the corporate website to maximise reach and engagement.
The response was immediate. Leading sustainability news websites such as Business Green and edie reshared the campaign and report, commending the company’s ambition, targets and initiatives. On the day of release, Racing. Green. was the most viewed page on Astonmartin.com (the first time corporate content has surpassed product pages!).
