Building trust post-IPO

After its IPO, Trustpilot wanted to strengthen its approach to sustainability. It approached us to help define its material ESG impacts and bring this to life in its first-ever Sustainability Report. The aim was to show that content integrity sits at the heart of its purpose, creating a ‘trust layer’ for the internet economy, while establishing a foundation for a long-term ESG strategy.

Understanding material issues
Our approach was to align sustainability goals with business vision. Through a double materiality assessment, we pinpointed the issues with the biggest impact on people, the environment, society and financial performance.

Bringing sustainability to life
Each of the four material issues was given a dedicated multi-page spread in the Sustainability Report, enriched with pull-out statistics, quotes, and case studies.

The report also leveraged brand colours and the Trustpilot ‘star’ to guide readers, introduced photography inspired by user experiences, and included authentic, unfiltered editorial to make the content engaging, accessible, and human.
