Sage

The multiplier effect

Sage, the FTSE 100 global enterprise software company, is committed to scaling its business in a sustainable way, by knocking down barriers and delivering extraordinary outcomes for its stakeholders.

It knows that acting on sustainability starts within the business, but the impact it creates spreads beyond to the SMBs across the globe. They call this ‘The Multiplier Effect’.

Being anchored to Sage’s refreshed double materiality assessment, the Sustainability Report is robust, transparent, and comprehensive.

The objective was to balance technical with engaging, detailed roadmaps and data with impactful stories. Content was guided by the refreshed double materiality assessment, in preparation for regulatory requirements such as the EU CSRD and leading voluntary standards GRI and SASB.

The narrative communicates Sage’s evolved Sustainability & Society strategy, with the refreshed material topics supporting the evolution of its strategy, reflecting its transition from commitment to action. Each of Sage’s sustainability pillars is supported by clear priorities and action plan, with KPIs aligned to leading reporting standards such as GRI, TCFD, TPT and SASB, indexed across a comprehensive 7-report ecosystem.

The reporting suite provides a comprehensive ESG data set aligned to GRI (in accordance), SASB, TCFD and TPT. A new Climate Report provides detailed climate performance information and roadmaps to respond to requests from shareholders for climate information.

The dedicated ESG Databook brings together all data and external standards reporting for data-hungry stakeholders that want everything in one place. Data has been assured by Bureau Veritas and EcoAct, and a content index check was conducted by GRI to confirm Sage’s reporting suite was prepared in accordance with GRI Standards.
