Impactful digital reporting

After a challenging period for the hospitality sector, PPHE’s Annual Report needed to instil confidence, communicate its strong recovery performance and look ahead to its exciting development pipeline of new hotels.

With most audiences viewing the report on-screen and an increase in users reading the report on mobile devices, it was important to prioritise the digital reporting experience and provide an impactful online summary which catered for the skim-reader.

Central to this year’s report was also launching its bold new ESG strategy, which was also developed in partnership with Luminous. This involved us conducting a double materiality assessment and building the new strategy around its most material ESG topics.

The reports concept centred around PPHE regaining momentum and building future value. The design utilised modular blocks to represent the coming together of elements. The layout was fluid and intuitive, reflecting the “Building theme, while a sophisticated dark theme conveyed a sense of sophistication. The microsite featured large-scale imagery, a new luxurious heading typeface and used video content to showcase its developments.
