As you climb the FTSE 100, Annual Reports seem to get longer, duller, and less exciting to read. We ensured that this was not the case for omni-channel retailer JD Group, who own some of the world’s leading sports fashion and outdoor brands.
With the brand value of its portfolio being central to its investment case and strategy, JD Group needed its Annual Report to reflect the vibrant personality of its leading consumer brand JD Sports, while also showcasing the breadth of the group which includes other leading names such as Size?, Go Outdoors and Millets.
The theme for this year’s report was centred around its vision ‘Connect Globally, Inspire Locally, Empower Individuality.’ We introduced a new headline typeface and a series of impactful, message-led case studies were used up-front to bring this vision to life.
The report was also used to launch its new strategy and to support this, we also revamped the business model.
With physical stores still playing an essential role in its retail channel mix, we captured the leadership photography in-store to place emphasis on this and to provide a more authentic feel to the leadership statements.
The result is a report which truly stands out from the crowd.
