A digital ESG story

A corporate website provides a great opportunity for a company to highlight how it is committed to being socially responsible, with a clear set of values that underpin all business decisions. Genel, the largest holder of reserves and resources in Kurdistan, asked us to develop a site that presented its ESG credentials and its sustainable approach to the global energy mix.

Genel has developed into a major operator and its previous website didn’t convey its growth story or approach to sustainable business. We created a site that got to the heart of Genel’s story with clear messaging, and was also easily navigable, interactive and scalable.

The website clearly highlights Genel’s environmental, social and governance strategies, with ‘at a glance’ narrative on the sustainability landing page, driving users to dedicated content areas and stories covering each of these areas. The use of case studies and key statistics makes the content easy to digest for the skim reader.

We developed a modular approach with fit-for-purpose building blocks providing a multi-purpose solution. This, combined with a WordPress CMS, gives the client a quick and easy way to add and modify pages going forward as new content is added.
