Creating Pandamonium for the WWF
Pandamonium2 was the second in a series of art initiatives with WWF UK, curated and managed by Artwise, where art articulates the environmental challenges we face whilst engaging new audiences for the charity and changing perceptions of environmental communication.
WWF challenged 25 leading contemporary minds from the fields of art and design to create performative, wearable sculptures to help raise awareness and vital funds in support of the environmental charity WWF UK.
Over 20 specially commissioned thought-provoking artworks were unveiled and showcased to a sold-out crowd during an open-air event in Hyde Park, hosted by Grayson Perry. Each piece resonates key environmental concerns while remaining true to each artist’s oeuvre.
It was a fantastic and honestly truly unique evening.
We were also lucky enough to develop the brand collateral for Pandamonium1 – which saw famous artists and designers, including Sir Peter Blake, Paul Smith and Tracey Emin, decorate old WWF high street panda collection tins.
We created coffee table books, catalogues and campaign merchandise including t-shirts, badges and postcard packs for the exhibition of the artworks in Selfridges’ Concept Store, before being auctioned by Sotheby’s.
The campaigns have raised over £150,000 to date and we are very proud to have been involved.Go back
