Alan’s first degree was in Graphic Communications, which he followed up with a Diploma in Marketing and ultimately a Master of Science degree in Strategic Marketing Management.

His career has moved between marketing, market research and communications management and has spanned the private and public sectors.

He has managed a whole range of communications projects aimed at different stakeholder groups, leading teams developing marketing strategy, managing marketing communications, press relations and developing major loyalty programmes.

At Luminous, as well as developing communications strategies for key clients, Alan is responsible for driving our sales and marketing strategies.

Alan is Luminous’s soccer star, having played for Merseyside under 19’s. His lifelong support of Everton leads to interesting family dramas with his wife Rachel, a passionate Liverpool fan.
