We have a passion for great imagery and are privilaged to have worked with some of the best photographers in the business.

Our publishing work aims to reflect photography in the best possible light, remaining faithful to the mindset behind the imagery. We are clear that the imagery is the hero and rather than let cosmetic stylistic flourishes battle with the images, we craft relevant designs that enhance the imagery and convey the appropiate mood or feeling.

At Luminous we try hard never to forget the inspiration we derive from the world outside our studio and have an ongoing commitment to sponsor projects which demonstrate such outstanding quality that they demand to be seen by a wider audience.

Our team have designed books for eminent image-makers including Magnum’s Chris Steele-Perkins. We have created a limited edition box-set of Simon Norfolk’s Citi-Bank nominated Afghanistan Chronotopia series and a posthumous book celebrating the stunning work of Nikoli Ignatiev.
