As they moved from AIM to a full FTSE listing, Park Plaza Hotels needed their report to demonstrate a business built on strong foundations underpinned by a clear strategy. The report needed to meet more best practice requirements, with particular focus on sound governance. We communicated Group strategy and set out the KPIs that would be used to benchmark future performance. By highlighting increases in room occupancy, revenue per room and growth in international locations, the report conveyed a positive forward-looking message.
