We were appointed to work with the BBC after a tender process involving the UK’s top agencies. Making over 300 pages of results work hard in print and online is the kind of challenge we thrive on. Our focus on effective communication helped us demonstrate how the BBC offers a distinctive, quality service in a clear, engaging manner.
The Report gives a clear explanation about the BBC – what it does, how it is structured, how it is funded and the individual services provided and their top-level performance.
Key financial KPIs/measurements run throughout, linked to the narrative on the same pages. The use of ‘blast charts’ provides more detailed explanations of key figures as well as supporting data. Progress against the Strategic Review was reported for each strategic priority. Each section contained updates from the year, measures relevant to that priority and a measurable KPI. The BBC Trust also report against the same strategic priorities for consistency, as well as focusing on key issues. The ‘Managing the business’ section provides detail on the day-to-day running of the BBC and covers key issues.
