The online report gives a clear explanation about the BBC – what it does, how it is structured, how it is funded and the individual services provided and their top-level performance.
The challenge was to develop a design template that communicated effectively to both the skim and in-depth reader. Our solution featuring colour coding, pull out info boxes and engaging imagery helped make the user experience highly accessible. The home page gave the BBC Trust Report and BBC Executive Report equal prominence and clear, intuitive navigation helped guide the user through the site.
The HTML site was supported by a series of downloadable PDFs, including the full accounts and governance sections of the report. The site was supported by fully accessible and disability compliant PDF files.
