How can we express culture and purpose?

Purpose is high on the reporting agenda at the moment, reflecting the Financial Reporting Council’s current focus on culture.

U+I is a new kind of property company driven by a clear purpose. It voices strong opinions and disruptive thinking, embraces art and creativity and doesn’t like showing photos of its properties in its literature.

And when you think so differently from your peers, your first connection with stakeholders should make a powerful statement of your cultural distinctiveness.

Its first corporate suite combined a best practice-driven report bound together with a broadsheet newspaper. The pack sets out how U+I’s culture is a valuable asset, a source of competitive advantage and vital to its sustainable growth.

The report highlights the value U+I creates ‘beyond profit’, unlocking the potential of urban sites bristling with opportunity, and creating long-lasting social and economic change for communities and sustainable value for shareholders.

The broadsheet, entitled MATTER, also produced as an e-magazine, acted as a fresh platform to convey disruptive, thought-provoking ideas to the wider stakeholder audience.
