Octapharma report wins international digital award 

This week Communicate magazine‘s Corporate & Financial Awards honoured the very best in financial communications, and we were delighted that our report for Swiss-based biopharmaceutical company Octapharma won Gold in the ‘Best Online Report: International’ category.

The report proves that even in the corporate arena, storytelling has the power to touch emotions. To support its vision of ‘advancing human life’, the report was themed entirely around patients, supported through a series of emotionally powerful videos. These set out highly personal stories, providing insight into the patients’ lives, conditions and challenges. Due to this level of trust, authenticity and honesty, far away from any kind of marketing clutter, not only have the responses from external stakeholders been outstanding, but also the amazing engagement and pride of the 7,100 Octapharma employees.

The online report has already received widespread industry recognition, winning a Gold award, ‘Interactive report, pharmaceutical sector’ at the 2017 ARC Global Reporting Awards and ’Best Online Report’ at the 2017 LACP Vision Awards. It was also shortlisted for ’Best use of digital media in internal communications’ and ‘Best use of video – employer brand’ at the 2017 CorpComms Digi Awards, and is a current finalist in the ‘Best Use of Digital in the Healthcare Sector’ category at the 2017 Digital Impact Awards.
