Jon is a co-founder of Luminous.
He has a first class honours degree in Graphic Communications and with a career spanning over 25 years he has vast experience working on projects that have gained industry recognition from D&AD, Design Week and Communication Arts.
As well as being a client partner on key accounts, Jon helps ensure the strategic aims of the business are being delivered, which includes, as he puts it, ‘getting us known and getting us business’.

Lorna has worked in the UK design industry for 15 years and has a wealth of experience across corporate literature, branding, marketing campaigns and new media applications.

A member of the Investor Relations Society, Lorna is a specialist corporate reporting strategist, helping our clients understand latest legislative and best practice requirements.

Alan is a co-founder of Luminous.
Alan has 27 years experience as a marketing and communications professional. He has a degree in Graphic Design, a Diploma in Marketing and an MSc in Strategic Marketing Management.
Having worked at both agency and client side, his career has moved between marketing, market research and communications management and has spanned the private and public sectors.
Alan oversees key accounts, developing insightful and effective communications strategy and messaging.
Alan loves sport, musicals and is an Everton blue.

Lisa has a BSc in Communication, Advertising and Marketing (Hons) from the University of Ulster. She has over eight years experience in the advertising and design industry, working on through-the-line brand and corporate reporting projects across numerous sectors.
She joined Luminous in 2008 and is responsible for key accounts, using her Irish-charm to put a smile on client’s faces by making their lives as easy as possible. She is an industry expert in client-editing systems and accessible communications, having worked closely with the BBC accessibility unit.
An all-Irish vertical jumping champion (yes, really), Lisa loves chocolate, is a committed hockey player and supports Liverpool.

James graduated from Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design with a BA (Hons) in Graphic Design. His experience includes a spell at Erdmannpesker Design in Biel, Switzerland.
A brand specialist who works in print and online, James’ work is underpinned with style and sophistication and with a clear understanding of the power of brand communications to excite and engage.
As Creative Director, James oversees the creative excellence of the business, takes creative lead on key accounts and mentors the design team. James has his finger firmly on the pulse of the UK design industry, keeping us aware of industry trends.

Alex graduated from the University of Dundee with a BA (Hons) in Graphic Design, before moving to South Africa where his experience included working for Interbrand in Johannesburg.
Returning to the UK in 2010, he joined Luminous and is a brand communications specialist. Alex works cross-media, with an expertise in creating engaging online presentations, animations and video.
Being a designer, Alex has a passion for cool typography and photography, but counters this with a love of cheesy 80’s music. Originally from Birmingham, supports the Villa.

Jo graduated from the University of Durham in 2009 with a BA Hons in English and History and went on to achieve a MA in English Literary Studies at the University of York.
She joined Luminous in 2011 and as well as supporting Client Services Director Lorna Goodwin, she runs her own accounts in the brand communications, corporate reporting and digital arena.
Known in the studio as Smeezles, Jo loves tea, travelling and shopping and is a Crystal Palace loving south-east London girl.

Acb has a BA in Communications Studies from the University of South Australia and a MA (Distinction) in Digital Media from London Metropolitan University.
He has worked in the design industry for 20 years in Adelaide, Brussels and London, and brings an unrivalled technical specialism to our artwork production team.
His name comes from… well, we’re still working that out.

With over 10 years experience in the creative industry Hatty is skilled in running and delivering the most complex of projects to an exceptionally high standard.
Hatty graduated with a BA (Hons) in Sociology and Social Policy from Leeds University and joined Luminous in 2012 after spells as a Senior Account Manager at Salter Baxter and Provokateur.
Her big picture approach and can-do attitude mean she’s a steady pair of hands and big brain when you need them the most. Hatty is also our in-house sustainability specialist having worked with clients such as BAE Systems, Coca-Cola, Camelot, DeBeers and Morrisons.
Hatty loves cooking, Zumba and pottering around on her bike.

Sophie graduated from the University of Sheffield with a BA (Hons) in English Literature and having worked as an Account Manager at FTI Consulting joined Luminous in 2012 with a wealth of experience in managing reporting and digital communications.
Sophie is helping to develop Luminous’s unique digital offering, hosting online workshops with clients such as British Land and creating sector-leading sites for foreign exchange business Liquidity Pool.
When not solving client challenges, Sophie reads ‘a ridiculous amount of novels’, cooking (hopefully food and not her books) and Moomins!

Stephen received a BA (hons) in Graphic Design from Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts, London and prior to joining Luminous worked at two of the UK’s largest corporate reporting agencies, the Design Portfolio and Black Sun.
He is an Annual Report expert, understanding the role of design in communicating a strong investment case.
When not crafting smart solutions for us, Stephen likes trying new restaurants, is a lover of cool typography and spending time catching up with friends.

Leah is our studio administrator and the welcoming voice you hear when you call us.
Leila is working with us as part a Business and Administrative Apprenticeship scheme and we are delighted to help her on the first step of her career.
Out of the studio she enjoys theatre, films and books and loves sight seeing and travelling.

Leila has a BA (Honours) in Advertising and Brand Communication from University for the Creative Arts, Farnham.
She joined us in 2012 after spells at Proximity, TwentySixDigital and Lloyd Northover.
Leila is incredibly passionate about branding and fascinated by the way brands must continually evolve to keep up to date with society, and in tune with the increasingly savvy consumer.
Out of the studio, she loves vintage clothing and accessories, as well as enjoying designing and regularly creating jewellery, clothing and accessories.
