Crafting a dynamic sales tool for the Goldsmiths Institute
The Goldsmiths’ Centre is a visionary new development in the heart of Clerkenwell. Opening in 2012, this restored Grade II listed Victorian school, combined with a contemporary four-storey building, is a striking combination of old and new, teaming traditional features with state-of-the-art design and facilities.
This online brochure helped the Institute highlight the key benefits of their room space for hire. By adopting the flexibility of interactive PDFs, the reader could click on icons and understand the flexible configurations of their rooms and see the benefits that each space provided.
Using social media to present new thinking
The power of social media: we all want to harness it, and we are all looking for the magic formula for success.
And clients are now asking Luminous to create and market communication vehicles amongst social networks.
Take this lovely animation we have just produced for MITIE, recently posted on YouTube.
Over the last 30 years, the way in which people and buildings work to deliver productivity has changed radically. In the next 10 years change will speed up dramatically and exciting new models of thinking will emerge around how we work, where we work, how we use energy and how we create environments that help organisations build sustainable success. MITIE has a lot of the answers, and their creativity and analytical skills are inspiring some completely new thinking.
The story is conveyed in a highly engaging, illustrative style.

We are delighted to have won both the Annual Report categories at the 2012 CorpComms Awards.

Breakthrough innovation in corporate reporting.
We have produced the annual report for XXAR, who design, manufacture and sell printheads to OEMs.
The challenge for their 2012 report was to provide a better understanding of what they do and how their innovative approach drives market leadership.
To bring their technology to life, the report featured printed QR codes next to key technologies, enabling the reader to view augmented reality images on their mobile phones.
PPHE Hotel Group Annual Report highlights new name and brand identity.
European hotel group Park Plaza asked us to work with them to create a new name and brand for the Group which captured the stylish essence of the unique hotels, which trade under the Park Plaza Hotel and art’otel brands.
The creative solution for the new brand style is modern and European and is underpinned graphically by two distinct visual elements. Crosshairs that represent the city-central locations of the hotels and reflects PPHEs position at the heart of hospitality, whilst dynamic diagonal visual elements echo the momentum and growth of the group.
Rules on how to implement this distinct graphic look and feel was set out in clear brand guidelines and implemented across a whole range of marketing collateral, including website, brochures, folders, stationery, exhibitions, notepads and lanyards.
The Annual Report shows off the new brand in a fantastic manner - highlighting to existing investors and prospects an exciting growing business.
